Voted Most Likely // Stolen Tag

Hello lovelies! In light of my last writerly post, I thought that this tag seemed a very fitting follow up! So, on a particularly rainy day, I was feeling particularly bored, and I was innocently reading my way through blog posts and I stumbled across this tag. Now I have stolen it and will proceed to fill it out!

So the basic idea of this tag, is a "voted most likely" using your own book characters. And the only rule is to link back to who you stole it from. So thank you Mem for providing me with a tag to steal :) Let us proceed...

Most Likely to Be a Poet

I can see Larkin, from my WIP Shadows End, being a pretty good poet. He's got a rather romantic side to him, though his friends would probably never give him a rest about it ;)

Most Likely to Dance in the Rain

Nevada my MC from the WIP Hidden Corners is definitely a rain dancer. She's energetic and just a happy person, and would do it without prompting.

Most Likely to Look Good in a Kilt

Torryn right here, from Shadows End could rock the kilt. He's not Scottish, but he could pull it off anyways.

Most Likely to Get Punched in the Face

John from The Street Artists.

sigh. Dear John. He is a bit...snarky. Opinionated. Blunt. It's safe to say that there are many many people who would love to, if they have not already, punch John.

Most Likely to Drop Everything and Become a Sheep Herder

Wes from the Street Artists. He's the quiet type, and would probably love to quite his scientist-ing job in trade for a sheep herding job.

Most Likely to Be Found in the Library

Alex from Hidden Corners is a book worm. The library is one of his most common haunts.

Most Likely to Sleep Through an Earthquake

Essilia from Shadows End probably takes this one. She's not the most motivated person, and once she falls asleep, I doubt the end of the world would wake her up.

Most Likely to Steal Food from Other Peoples’ Plates

Also Essilia. She can be a bit...pushy. If Essilia wants your food, Essilia will take your food.

Most Likely to Cheat on a Test

I believe we have established the fact that Essilia might not be the best role model. She probably never bothered to study for said test, she had "better things" to do, and then ended up cheating, mostly for the fun of it.

Isabelle (MC from The Street Artists) is also a cheater. Cheating is probably one of Isabelle's greatest talents, as she has spent many years perfecting the art, and kinda survives on it.

Most Likely to Say “Oops” After Setting Something on Fire

John would probably not only very likely start a fire, but he would most definitely say "oops" after the flame was ignited.

Most Likely to Open an Orphanage

Henyar from Shadows End is the Father Figure of the story. And while I don't think he'd be the absolute best with children (they're probably a little too uncooperative and messy for him) I do believe he would eventually be very good at it and grow to like it.

Most Likely to Run off with the Circus

John again. He prides himself on his self taught Parkour skills, and would love any opportunity to show them off. Plus the circus is probably just the right amount of crazy for him.

Most Likely to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse

Raya (MC from Shadows End) and Isabelle (MC from The Street Artists) would both be Zombie Apocalypse survivors, and would probably come through it with out a scratch. Suffice to say, you would not want to be in a fight with either of these two.

Most Likely to Fake Their Own Death

Isabelle again. This girl has got about 101 motivations to fake her death and she possibly could, will, and has done it.

Most Likely to Die and Haunt Their Friends

Gabe from The Street Artists would probably have a blast haunting his friends. He would show up at the most annoying times, drive John insane, and make Isabelle wish he was still alive just so she could punch him. This would only delight Gabe further, because he could be as irritating as he likes and his friends would have no choice but to deal with it XD

And that is that! If you so desire, you have my permission to steal the tag! Just drop me a comment if you decide to do so, I'd love to read your answers! xxx

I'm a Writer

I am a writer (yes I know that was the title, hush)

I have been a writer for as long as I can remember. I remember "writing" books at about age six, by just drawing the pictures for the book, and then narrating them myself. At eight, words began to be added. When I was fourteen, I began my first actual attempt to write a novel. Unfortunately, that particular book didn't make it very far, thought I didn't lose the spark for writing. After that however, I went through bit of a lull, as I just felt such a lack of inspiration. The need to write was still there, but the ideas weren't.

Then, about two years ago, I met my best friend, and she urged me back to the page, and reminded me just how much I missed writing. And then I finally sat down, and I wrote!! And I wrote, and wrote and wrote! And the ideas came back, and characters began to appear, and worlds reopened, and the plot bunnies multiplied! And let me tell you, there is no greater sensation.

All this long history is to say, I can never exactly remember a time when I didn't want to write. When I didn't feel the need to write. When I didn't have characters and entire worlds bouncing around inside my head. When I didn't feel the need to get the stories out of me and onto a page.

And I can't imagine ever being without that feeling, without the need to write. I mean, to you normal non-writer people out there, what do you think about? Your brain must have so much free time! It's simply unfathomable to me that there are people out there who are not planning their next plot twist, or fangirling over their own characters, or deciding who to kill next! *que evil laughter*

Writing is part of my being, of my identity. Quiet shy characters, and incredibly snarky sass masters, and villains and heroes all rolled up into one person. Just little me. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Writing is my passion, and I'll always love it.

I don't really have a specific reason for writing this rambly little post. I guess it's sort of just to express how much I love the little writer in me. The creative piece of my brain that is wandering through castles in Scotland, or dangling her legs off a rusty fire escape, or exploring Neverland. The little part of me that is always devising new scenes and thinking up the perfect word to use. The part that will forever be a writer :) xxxx
